Mother’s Day Essentials

Can you believe Mother’s Day is right around the corner?! This Sunday it’s all about us mamas! Being a mom has been my greatest joy and pleasure in life, and I’m sure all moms can say the same. Since we all deserve to have the day to ourselves and splurge a bit while we’re at it, I wanted to share some of my Mother’s Day essentials with you for this year! While this Mother’s Day will be a little different for all of us, I couldn’t be more thankful for another beautiful year as a mom.

Mama Necklace

Who doesn’t love a little jewelry, right? I love personalized and minimalistic jewelry, and I couldn’t leave it off of my Mother’s Day list. A mom-themed nameplate necklace is super cute for wearing year-round. One of my favorite jewelry brands is LeBrisa Designs, owned by a really good friend of mine, and they make custom pieces designed to everyone’s liking.

Waffle Robe

Cozy robes are my favorite, especially now since we’re spending all of our time at home! When I don’t feel like throwing on sweats or yoga pants, I slip into my robe and feel like I’m lounging at a day spa. After a nice, long shower and doing my skincare routine, throwing on a lightweight waffle robe is all the pampering I need. Throw on some slippers to match and you’re ready for an at-home spa day!

Mom Candle

Speaking of pampering and relaxation, who can ever have too many candles? I can’t name a single person I know! I absolutely love lighting candles around the candles, and I found the sweetest Mother’s Day-themed candle that’ll make a great gift. This one’s infused with lavender for all the calmness you need, and has a soft coconut scent in there as well.

Skincare Set

Of course I couldn’t leave skincare off the list! Get your glow on with a skincare set tailored to your needs. I love this kit by Sunday Riley, which includes a vitamin C serum, a face oil, a vitamin c hydration cream, auto correct eye cream. I’m also a big, big fan of Shabbella. I use the eye and lip cream for firming and plumping the areas–seriously, it’s so good. Investing in your skincare will lead to amazing results later on, and we must take care of our skin as much as possible during quarantine!

Cute PJ Set

Pajamas always make for an excellent gift, and let’s face it–moms love being in their PJs after a long day! Some of my favorite brands are Barefoot Dreams, Cosabella, and Cozy Earth. Anything that’s stretchy, comfortably knit, and breathable is the way to go! I also love that Cozy Earth pajamas are made from bamboo, which is easily one of the best fabrics to sleep in.

Mom Mug

Coffee mugs are easily one of the most common gifts to give. We all have a favorite coffee mug, right? Well, you might have a new favorite come Mother’s Day! There are so many cute mugs with phrases and affirmations for mamas out there, and they’re too sweet to not love. Remind the special woman in your life how much she means to you every time she brews a cup of coffee or tea!

What’s on your Mother’s Day list for 2020? Let me know what you’re buying and gifting!

  1. I just had to say that I love you so much! Your honesty is incredibly refreshing. This stuff is hard and maybe some people are having perfect lives and whatever and that’s great for them. But quarantine with jobs and kids is really hard and if you don’t have a partner — or your relationship is in a bad place — it’s even harder. I’m really sorry that you are going through this but I am so glad that you’re talking about it! You make me feel a little less alone and for that I am super grateful. Hang in there — you are a beautiful person inside and out and it will work out for you. And until then, I am so with you! 🙂

  2. Meghan, your vulnerability and transparency makes you a beautiful being! You’re a smart woman with wonderful qualities to share. I’ve watched you on your RHOC days and now through these trying times. I’m glad that you have been able to move on. Stay strong for your little ones. Its definitely not easy, but know that you’re doing your best. Best wishes and continue to take care of YOU!

  3. Hi Meghan! I reached out via Instagram but was hoping of reaching you more quickly here. I have been wondering how you have navigated your phobia of getting blood taken/having invasive medical procedures. I was so comforted by the footage of you on RHOC when you discussed your phobia because it’s something I struggle with just as badly if not worse. Obviously you overcame it and went through pregnancy and birth. How did you do it? I’m trying to get pregnant now and need to finally face my fears!
